Bob Hodgkiss

Bob Hodgkiss, Colonel, USAF, Retired, is the President/CEO of Hodgkiss Consulting LLC, a firm supporting new and established businesses develop strategies and aerospace industry products for commercial and government customers. In his final USAF assignment he served as the Director and Senior Materiel Leader, Launch Systems Directorate, Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Air Force Space Command, Los Angeles AFB, California.  He directed the development, acquisition and sustainment of launch systems required to launch national security satellites at the Eastern and Western Ranges and was the Program Manager of the $2B+ per year Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) program.

Bob was commissioned in 1985 through AFROTC after graduation from the Pennsylvania State University.  He served in a wide variety of space research, acquisition and operations roles within the Air Force and National Reconnaissance Office.  Bob served as Program Manager of the Atlas V program at the Space and Missile Center (SMC) at Los Angeles AFB, California, and as the Executive Officer to the SMC Commander.  Prior to his final assignment at SMC, he was assigned to the Office of the Under Secretary of the Air Force at the Pentagon and was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of launch, range, Global Positioning System (GPS), ICBM and other space programs.
